Reports to: Lead Machinist

Purpose: Assisting machinist in repairing parts of used Flottweg machines

Responsibilities:

Assisting machinist with repairs while training on current Flottweg repair practices.

Assisting with maintenance on machining equipment.

Sandblasting of equipment as required.

Facility tasks that could include but not be limited to shelf installation and area clean-ups, etc.

Interface with Engineering on any necessary items and/or implement any mechanical or process upgrades to existing equipment

Pay attention and adhere to Flottweg in-house safety policies and requirements.

Make sure in-house work areas are clean of debris or waste at the end of every workday.

Participate as required in inter-company (FW USA) and intra-company (FW USA & FW Germany) training programs.

Assisting in inventory counts as requested

QUALIFICATIONS:

Comfortable around large metal removal equipment.

Good attitude and willingness to learn a trade.

This role will require a well-rounded mechanical background. Basic tig welding, fabrication and machining experience is a plus.

The position will require the candidate to become an internal expert of Flottweg parts.

An ability to handle projects that are time critical and ever changing is essential.

English fluency required.
